12 years of teaching experience at your service

I started learning Japanese when I was 13 years old and I had the chance to spend 2 years in Japan:

  • one as an exchange student with the ROTARY International Youth Program in Kuwana, Mie prefecture (三重県桑名市)
  • and one as an assistant language teacher with the JET Programme in Okayama (岡山県岡山市).

Studying and teaching Japanese is my passion, and I want to share it with you. I know what it is like to study Japanese from scratch and understand the learners' challenges as I have passed:

  • a Master's Degree in Japanese Studies from Lyon 3 University (France)
  • the prerequisite courses for the PhD in Education of Concordia University (Quebec)
  • the level 1 of the JLPT (日本語能力試験 Nihongo Nôryoku Shiken)
  • the level J1+ of the BJT (ビジネス日本語能力テスト Business Nihongo Nôryoku Test)
  • the level 2 of the Kanji Proficiency Test (漢字検定 Kanji Kentei, or 漢検 Kanken)

I have also worked for 2 years as a translator/interpreter in a Japanese company so I am well aware of the corporate culture.

I have been teaching for the past 12 years in a variety of educational environments: INSA Lyon University, language schools, private tutoring, as well as companies.
